Here is my FBMP pick up, only score for the last few weeks.. A buddy of mine knows I’m a sucker for old tool chests and boxes, alerted me to it. Guy selling it had removed a couple of tasty pieces, and was flipping it forward. It was a reasonable price. Simple plywood box, nifty lock and 4 keys, and someone obviously added features to the box over the years. There were still some fun tools left, including a Shinwa SS adjustable bevel, just to follow a theme (and an out of focus image). The selling point was the nifty tag on top, pointing out the previous owner was a shipwright. The seller had the previous owners name, so if he shares it, I may try to dig a bit into the PO.
A few non-sequitur tools in there as well, as he was trying to sweeten the deal for the guy before me who flaked out. (2 rusty hatchets not pictured) He also tossed in a giant Cincinnati Tools wooden screw clamp, forgot to get a picture, but 16" jaw length, metal screws.
The papers in the top previously wrapped up a couple of wood saws, 1975 date on the papers, he left them to help with the possible retirement date or passing date. There was also a 3-1/4" L & IJ White slick, which is why he bought the box in the first place.
Included is a Corsair block plane, (meh), Diamalloy nippers, Walden Hamerench, center head for a combo square (hardened) in blue, Millers Falls Brace, gun cleaning kit, and other goodies.
See the whole gallery here. (Apologies for the flashlight pictures, I forgot to get the whole thing pix during daylight)
Welcome to My SmugMug site. I'll always be adding to it, as people around me continue to participate in things of interest. I live in the SF Bay area, and spend lots of time photographing the sports my kids are participating in. These images are my attempts to document what they're doing...

Will add it to the toolbox thread later, with more details.
