I hit an interesting sale on Thursday, with a lot of heavy duty Grizzley wood working machines. Not my thing, but interesting to see. Plus I found a few good things.

Brass shim stock, Snap-on duel flex head, Stanley sweetheart driver, Armstrong SOE.
After that I headed to the Restore, as they are having a storewide sale. There I found a Lincoln grease gun, Jacobs chuck, and GTD tap wrench
Hit one sale on Friday, which was a bust.
Today, I planned three stops before I had to do something, and it worked out OK. The first stop was a bust, as everything I was interested sold yesterday. Second stop I bought this:

Well, that and the contents:

Well, the box and the contents. There was a lot of interesting stuff, and as I walked around, I started picking things up, as the prices were nice. First thing I grabbed was the Hunter holster, and then the socket box with NPT taps with the die stock attached. Then I started checking the tool boxes, and in the SK box I spotted the hole saw and the two Starrett boxes. Grabbed that, and the Snap-on driver, Greenlee chisel, and I couldn't pass on the Square D drum switch. But, when I was making a final pass around the tables, I spotted the spurs. No way I was going to pass those up, not when I noticed the B B marking: Bob Blackwood.
Oh, what is in those Starrett boxes, you ask?

A metric micrometer, and a .0001 dial gauge, which is sadly missing the lens. Not a huge deal for me, as I will keep it in the box for most of the time.
At the last stop, I found this, a nice topper for the day:

a wartime edition, and Greene is one of my favorite authors. All told, this weekends haul set me back less than $40, and selling the spurs should easily take care of that.
