I saw a Matco truck heading south from Mecklenburg on State Route 228 in NY yesterday.

Ton ton, I used to live in your area and would always see the Cornwell or Matco truck parked at the Shenandoah Valley Airport.
Cool , thanks for the heads up.

See a Snap On truck pretty regularly in Hunterdon/Warren county New Jersey. Even in weird spots like Quakertown and Buttzville.

Thought it was pretty strange at first due to the low population density and how snarly the traffic can get, but given there are a ton of car/motor sports dealerships on Rt 31 to service the horse country mommy missiles/donorcycles. There are also quite a few older independent shops and light industry tucked away on the country roads who probably have been in the tool truck ecosystem for 20+ years.

I will see a Snap On Truck sometimes around the Industrial areas if I happen to drive by. I work downtown so I mostly drive the freeways. In the last 2 months I have seen 2 different snap on trucks on the I10 Freeway in Phoenix, AZ.

This morning at the shop near the house. Overland Park, KS - West 95th street. I was on my way to take a grandkid to school, which prevented me from becoming a walk-in. :) Likely saved me a few bucks.

Just this morning, saw a Cornwell truck. Not fancy like that one, just plain white w/blue lettering. I see one quite regularly around here. My wife asks "Have you ever heard of Cornwell Tools?' Oh, yeah.

Saw this in Upland, California about a week ago.

I saw a SO Shop Essentials truck a few weeks ago; I can't remember exactly where, but somewhere in east TN. I've never seen one before and had to look it up online to see what it was about- basically, what it sounds like: welders, wheel balancers.... I never have time for a pic when I see a tool truck as they are always heading in the opposite direction while I'm also driving. I somehow see more Matco trucks than Snap On in my area. Of course, there are probably only two of each brand in the area, but...

Is that Hector?

I saw this Snap On truck just past Auto Row on Capitol Expressway
The guy was too fast for me, so that's the explanation for the crappy pic :D

Haha. Yeah, side of the truck said Hector. Never met him, I'll probably try to stop by next time I see him at BTM though!

I keep thinking somebody will see this thread who has a next door neighbor who drives one and will start posting pics of it in the driveway daily.
I do drive by a house about 4 miles away that usually has 2 of them in the driveway, not sure why though.

There is one parked in a residential area pretty close to the monthly swap meet in Glendale. I could see that happening.

I really wish my local tool truck would have "office hours" where they show up at a parking lot and let the hobbyists shop...

I know it's a PITA but you need to get the guy's name off the truck and call him and meet at a local shop. They are not going to waste time with "office hours" letting anyone just walk in and look around.

If you want to meet a Matco truck you can now get the info on their website. They are going to ask you where you work, but just put in the name and address of a local shop and they'll give you the local dealer's contact info. For Snap On, you'll need to search online for the local dealer in your area, or search on Facebook, and then call him.

No pic but Monday is Snap-On day at a place between work and home. Stay tuned for a pic from my old phone that my kids mock.

As always, no pics, I'm always driving in the opposite direction of the truck, but I saw a Gearwrench truck today in Knoxville, TN. I've seen it in about the same area a few years ago. A GW truck makes no sense to me, but WTF do I know? Whoever owns it is apparently making money.
