Well we are running, garage company is running late, everyone is running late. lol. Hopefully within 2 weeks we will have a garage! As of right now we are ready to pour cement. Got prices today. All were within 45 dollars of each other delivered. At the end of it all we ended up using about 35-40 tons of fill sand and around 10 tons of the sand/gravel fill.
Here we are getting the sand level....raking and measuring...fun fun.

Everything got level and we decided to make it an inch higher to pack down. We ran over with the tractor to kinda get an idea how much it would pack. (note....theres a low spot for extra concrete in case we do decide to put a lift in)

Now is where the real fun came in....somebody in the family decided to make the fill up to the line where the top of the concrete would be because it would pack down that much. RIGHT....packed it, went down at most 3/4"...so a lot of shoveling raking and headaches later we packed it again and right at 4" thick for concrete. Good deal. Also leveled out a drive to the left for a future garage behind maybe in the future.
