Jeopardy: no judgement given to a guy moving him and his daughter into their new place. looks like you are getting there and i'm sure you'll have it looking like a home in no time.

BTW how does your daughter like it?

My daughter seems very content.

I got some more done this weekend inside the house but not much in the garage.

The motorcycles are home so that was nice.

Very nice. When I bought my house one of the other ones I looked at was a similar setup but on a slanted lot so the door was upstairs & at ground level outside access to the garage. I still think about that house but there were other issues that couldn't really be fixed.

I've been pretty happy with it. There are some things I would change if I had to do it again but I'm overall pleased. Not much different to see honestly.

Jeopardy: for those looking at your thread and liking the design if you might list a few of the possible changes you might have done i bet it would be appreciated.

would one of the changes be maybe a wider stairway to upstairs? or make it a bit bigger? or do tell what could have or would be nice to have built different.

good to hear you are doing ok!!

Yes, absolutely. I would go 40" on the fridge opening because it is against a wall. The door handle hits too soon as it is. I would also go with a pocket door in the master bathroom instead of a conventional. Lights above the bar of some sort, and fluorescent under the cabinets in the kitchen to light up the counters. Definitely a few more inches on the stairwell also. A sidewalk from the driveway to the front door and if money weren't an issue I would have a sliding door to a deck from the living room with a set of stairs to the ground. It would also be about 4' wider and 4' longer overall.
