You will likely need a jackshaft to be able to get the drive ratios to a point where the bandsaw wheels will turn slow enough. A blade speed of 125-200 linear feet per minute at the teeth will work fine for most things. If you do not know about the pulleys, you will need to do some reading about gearing ratios to get a good grasp on it.

Old furnace blower fans are a good source of larger diameter pulleys. Bearings for jackshaft would be called pillow block bearings. All parts available on Amazon.
