Nice!

I'm looking to do an in-ground lift too. Undecided between the atlas FM9SL or Twin Busch S3-19.

Any more pics of your pvc sleeving between the lifts? Or the one to the control box?

I'll post up some more pictures this week, but we're in the final stages of the work the contractor is doing.

* Drywall guys will finish on Monday
* We have three days to paint the ceiling
* Garage door installed on Friday
* Electrician coming to install the light fixtures and switches the next Monday.

Sorry for the delay with no updates. Quite a lot has been done since my last update. Contractor is done with the garage. We're still working to fix out the inside.

Lights and the door installed.

Redid the lights across the front of the garage.

Pavement was laid last week

This was a door from the mudroom that used to go outside. We didn't want it to go into the garage so we removed the door.

We took advantage of the removed door to rotate the washer and dryer, which gained some space in the mud room. Also stubbed in for the garage sink.

Contractor came by to rough in the mini split.

Next steps are to finish the air lines and electrical. Then it's drywall and insulation.

Are you going to just condition the space in the new garage?

The lift looks great. What’s going on it first?

Yes, we're conditioning just the new garage. Drywall is scheduled for the end of the month, so hopefully we'll be able to get the walls painted and the mini-split installation scheduled.

Lift fits nice and flush to the floor. Will have to raise the stops slightly for the tile.

Borrowed some scaffolding and knocked out the ceiling and wall painting.

The doors in the last picture are for a separate office refurb we're tackling at the same time as the garage.

Shop looks great. I’m biased since I have a flush mount scissor and can say you’re going to like using it to work on your projects. This weekends project for me is building a wheeled worktop to span my platforms.

Looking at the picture of your mini split installation, it looks like the lineset runs inside the wall cavity, is this correct or is it just the angle of the picture?

BTW, my garage is very similar to yours in design, having scissor trusses and is about the same size, but it will be years before I will insulate, drywall and install a mini split. However, it is great to see what the finished space looks like.

Thanks for the response, what sort of insulation is around the line-set in the wall cavity? I've read that rock wool is the way to go in case of condensation forming.

The wall insulation is fiberglass, but the HVAC company wrapped the lineset in insulation as well.

Are those interior lights LED?
I am at light selection stage and looking at options.
I hung LED strip light in old garage as a sample.
The strip light offers no ability to change out (different K value), so an LED bulb style maybe a better choice...

Well, after a few months of work on the weekend, I'm almost done with the tile. You can see the related thread referenced in my previous post.

Newage cabinets have been ordered but they're delayed. No estimated shipping date at this time. Next up is the final setup of the lift. Getting closer to the end.
