Rebar in place, waiting for concrete.

Back in the detached garage we've been modifying the gun cabinet to add a drawer system.
The bottom two drawers pull out, while the top one stays fixed.

There is room to expand my collection, but for now the bottom drawers are sized to fit my current firearms.
Looking good - is there going to be a pad between the drain/driveway on the side yard to the second shop?
that's a kel-tec KSG bullpup shotgun, isn't it?!? love that thing! god help anyone foolish enough to mess with your garage.
My first post here is going to go out to congratulate you on making everyone here jealous! Wow, you have done some amazing work on your house and mancave!
Definately an inspirational build !!
Looks great
What an awesome transformation you have accomplished!
Greatings from Edmonton! AWESOME job, simply amazing!!!! I love the overkill insulation, and making it all look really good!!! Talk about doing it right, your contractor is great!
Love that last shot. Well done sir, looks like it all ties in nicely.
wow those lights really change the space as well as the concrete, I really like the drainage system you installed also.
Looks awesome man!

Wow, what an amazing build. I really like it. I live in Winnipeg, so I know how fighting the cold weather is. With the amount of grinding and welding I do, I would be scared to wreck anything, but I may just steal your lighting idea. [emoji6] It's very impressive.

Got a few angry honks this morning as people squeezed by, one trouble with doing construction in a completely developed neighborhood.
Can you believe some clown made the concrete truck move to get by WHILE THEY WERE POURING CONCRETE! I nearly lost it, but surprisingly the guy moved the truck without complaint, I guess they are used to it. There is street 30 yards away you can take instead of mine that gets you to the same place btw.

..........and I can't wait to stop working on my house/garage and begin doing projects out there like I've been waiting to do since this whole process started.![]()
for those of us still chipping away on our builds. I hope to finish my builds in the next two years so I can start pumping the fun stuff.Great build, i didn't catch your location. Are you right in Winnipeg?
And poor neighbors, going to have to look at your house all the time and answer to the wives why it looks better then theirs. Lol.
Wow!! Just read every single page and this is astonishing work! Keep it up![]()

As always top notch and looking great.Do us a foavor and document those projects here as well

I've only read through the first 3 pages or so...but if I were you, I would have used one double-wide garage door in the center. If you have anything along the walls of your shop (workbench, toolboxes, cabinets, etc...), you will have a rough time getting vehicles in and out. You'll either be pulling in at an angle towards the center of the shop....or be running into **** and banging your car doors on them.
Our garage is setup like this...and it *****!
I was browsing the builds and came across yours. Awesome garage and nice work on the rest of the house. You gave me a lot of ideas for mine AND now I want a KSG!
Nice work.. amazed at the progress over time.. It looked like a lenghty process but im sure youre happy you did it right and took your time to get it right.
I think you managed to cause some minor depression and halt the garage project I was considering starting sometime soon. I'll have to double my budget just so when I look at my garage I don't have garage envy. Mine will be bigger, so far that's my only positive![]()
Great work Ben. Looks like you're ready for winter.
