Figured I'd post a few pictures of my 3/8" drive cordless impact wrenches so that you guys can see their size relevant to an industry standard Snap On CT4410.
A few comments, even thought the Matco's specs are rated higher than the SO CT4410, the 4410 beats it in the torque department, but the Matco is lighter, but larger.
The CT8810 weighs as much as the CT4410 even though the new CT8810 has LiIon batteries, but it has 18 volts versus the 14.4 volts of the CT4410.
The Bosch is a sleeper, at first you'll think this thing is not working right, but I verified its rpm with a laser tach and it was spot on, once I applied it to a few bolts it surprised me, it is a very, very quiet and smooth impact wrench but it is only rated at 1,500 in. lbs. so 125 ft. lbs. This does have a little more torque when ran with the larger Fat Pack batteries, as to how much more torque I'd have to check but I'm basing that comment on what it feels like. Of course with the Fat Pack the tool is taller, so basically the same height as the CT4410.
The Milwaukee 2451, that has been my go to at work for over three years, its a f*cking Timex, it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin', this thing has been abused, dropped, kicked(accidently) and used by others with no consideration and just keeps going. Addiing the XC battery raised its torque output by I estimate 15%. I'm adding two more of these to my work box (industrial maintenance) since I love having multiple impact wrenches set up and ready to go, changing sockets slows me down.
The DeWalt does have more torque than the Milwaukee 2451, but when the Milwaukee is loaded with the XC battery game on. The DeWalt's grip is a little small for me but I have big hands.
I'm waiting for the AC Delco 3/8" 12V iimpact I ordered to arrive and will be getting a Milaukee M12 FUEL 3/8" soon too. I'll do a few other threads, one for my 1/2" cordless impacts and one for my 1/4" cordless impacts soon.
