The current Gearwrench 1/4 drive swivel impact set along with all of the other brands listed are the pinned type. As of the SEMA show, Gearwrench was NOT releasing a 1/4 drive pinless set which I told the Gearwrench rep was huge friggen mistake.:wtf:

I'm assuming there are Matco/armstrong in 1/4?

If so how hard could it be to add gearwrench.

you might as well get the craftsman ones for 200 bucks. The gearwrench/matco/armstrong/craftsman all are the same design and probably made in the same factory.

Except the craftsman set doesn't include 19mm as I stated above. Gearwrench (and matco/Armstrong) do. 19mm is a pretty common size, at least for me, so it's not just ocd. Cannot fathom why it isn't included. I recollect even looking for a matching craftsman single to buy separately and it didn't appear it was offered.

No 19MM would be a deal breaker for me too. Need a 19MM swivel for suspension bolts on the rear struts of my forester. I could buy a shorter impact... but what fun would that be?

So 19mm is the same as 3/4" SAE?

Close enough.....

I have a snap on 3/4 impact socket that is also stamped with 19mm on the opposite side.

Thats why many companies offer smaller sets that skip the metric sizes 11mm, 16mm and a 19mm because they are effectively equivelant to 7/16", 5/8", and 3/4" in standard sizes. That way you don't end up with duplicates of pricey impact wobble sockets and it keeps set prices down.
