Does anybody make one? for somereason I cannot find one
I have a Mac ap1216 it has a pin instead of a ball
Pin retainers are a huge pain in the ***.
Why? I just ordered an SO impact adapter that has a pin I think, looked fine.
pins are fine if you only ever use one socket on that tool.
How would you use a screwdriver on that?
What if the sockets have no holes? I guess that's a mute point...
Then either it won't stay on or you won't be able to get it off...

I have these, they work great untill the magnets fall out and you loose them.

I also have this set, it's really nice.
OK, I have to ask: Why would you want to use a 1/2" drive socket on a 3/8" impact gun? BTW, how many of those adapters are impact and not just power tool (impact driver or cordless drill) rated?
why not? maybe the op doesn't own a 1/2 impact.
maybe his 1/2 impact is too big. maybe he likes using the lighter weight 3/8?
You will love that pin when said adaptor lets lose and tries to take your face off or dings a unit in your shop

because My 3/8 gun will do 99% of what I need it to do and I have a full set of 1/2 impact sockets and have 3 options but a new set of 3/8 impacts, a 1/2 gun or a adaptor I chose the cheapest option![]()
Or you have the right size socket in 1/2 but your half inch gun is broke or being used by another tech (i hate sharing tools but sometimes you have to...)
