So, do you have the round that was cut out of the center to make the flange to use for the table top? That is going to be one heavy table.

Thanks Balor

RK, it takes some effort to find all this ****, but well worth it to me.

Larry, yes,but it is slated for a different stand.
If my living room had concrete floor, I would make a table from it.
I don't really know what this will be, when it is done.

How much torch time was needed to cut through that much steel? That's a lot of material!

CNC flame cut. Was it a blank flange prior to try-cutting?
Gonna look cool as hell.

Fnieto,
No CNC, just a track torch set up on a pivot.
Yes, it was a blind flange, hear is a pic of the center.
Thanks

I tried using the last quarter of the flange as the column.
I turned it both ways to see if it looks good.
Not sure if the look is right to my eye or not.
May need to use a different column.

Not feeling the curved top. I think a boring three bar Eifel tower type then a pallet wood top with angle iron surround.

Me either Gahrajmahal,
I like the Eifel concept.
I'll see if I can come up with some 3" channel and perforate it similar to the legs.
Thanks

Just thinking out loud here. The arcs are all 1/4 of a circle correct? How does it look if you align the top arc with a lower one so it looks like a continuous 1/2 circle then have the top offset to be over the lower/mid plate. OR align the upper arc with a lower to make an S.

Yes, 1/4 sections
I pondered those ideas when I laid it out, but found with a 27" diameter it was to short.
Thanks

Got this project as far as I can go until I decide what to use it for.
In the process of welding out, I had it downside up and it looked like it would make a fine round glass top bar table.
Here is a few pics

More awesome work.

Not to ask a stupid question and I'm sure others know, but is this hobby work or part of what you do for a living ?
