OP

Sounds like you saved a good bit by doing the concrete yourself, but DAMN that was an expensive steel building. My 40x60x16 was $18K
What company manf. your steel building? Did you put it up yourself?

Did you use tracks for metal buildings?
There are different types of overhead door tracks for metal buildings. They have a different weather strip system instead of the applied residential seals. The panels are the same and what you have will work fine. But there is a different product for metal buildings for those thinking of doing a similar building.

There have been quite a few issues with the Liftmaster controller, just FYI. Nothing wrong with the openers themselves.

Nice job!! I love the big open steel structure.
I saw 2 Mopar's in the pictures, what's the story with them?

Looks awesome red! Great work. Can you provide details on the wainscoting? I'm looking for something very similar. Did they precut them where you bought them? What about the upper and lower brackets. Any and all details would be much appreciated. I can't see any fasteners in the pics.
Thanks!

Love the old Farmall M helping out, hope it get to stay inside now?

Any reason why you didn't use roll up doors instead?

Looking at your pics brought back memories of the year I spent putting up my 40X50 steel building.
The two things I remember most are the metal nibbler pieces that I couldn't seem to get out of my boots and how much that insulation ***** when it's 90 degrees and humid outside. I'm sure the fiberglass is still in my lungs. But your right there is a feeling of accomplishment afterward that makes it all worth it.
Anyways the building looks great, congrats!
I really like what you've done with the wainscoting and the workbench. Great job!

Very nice build! I want a 40'x60' someday....good that you pulled the trigger after thinking next year, next year!...you're now getting it done!
Helps that you don't have permitting issues in Montana.
