Nice size, I like the height. You should try to get some gutters up to prevent erosion of your finish grade, especially without any grass growing to hold the soil in place.

I would like to put gutters up but the garage spending has become a sore subject with the wife lately haha.

Nice shop!! I know how frustrating it gets not being able to 'move in' to your new shop. My new shop has taken over a year but I'm finally getting my tools out of the garage and into the shop. Your wall height is great. My old shop was 6' shorter than my new one but with 12' walls it still seemed bigger. One thing you may want to consider (depending on your plans) is a loft area. My old shop had a 10x16 section with a loft for storage and it saved a lot of floor space for more important things. I used a pull down attic door for access so the floor loss was very minimal and I had 160 sq ft of extra space. I had to stoop in the loft a bit but it was a small price to pay for the storage space.

a loft is something I would really like. ideally you would want it in the back. one problem with that is I want my hoist in the back so I don't have to drive threw it or around it since I have a single door. I thought about putting it on the man door area tho. a buddy has a ibeam laying out back of his place he didn't use. I would bet its 16 foot or so.

i got my opener installed. i really wasent planning on getting one but the door was a lot more of a pain lifting and shuting then i thought. i didnt want my wife to try to open or close it. had orginally scheduled the orginal place i got my door from to install it but they were always shoving me on the back burner. i found another place and they were a few bucks cheaper and came out the same day for a estimate
