I am new to the site. My son told me about it so I joined. Here is my new shop going up. I prepped the site and drilled the 18" dia. x 4' deep holes, and poured 10" deep footers. Then I had an Amish crew put it up and finish the roof. The building has trusses 2' on center and 5/8" osb board under a metal roof. Now I am framing in the windows that I scored off Craigslist. Am sheeting the sides with osb and will use vinyl siding to match the house.
It is 30' deep x 48' wide x 10' tall. There are three bays. The left and center bays have 10' x 8' doors and teh right bay has a 10' x 9' door. The right bay has vaulted trusses for a 13' peak to allow room for a lift.
The last picture here is the end of the second day the Amish worked on it. they did a lot of work in a short time and an excellent job at that.
