I'm waiting for a few amish quotes to build my barn. They do take a bit to get back to you. Hopefully the quotes are reasonable. A professional company gave me a quote. If they are a few thousand under, i'm in buisness.

How tall is the garage from the ground to the peak.

That's a good question- I've never measured. But figure from floor to ceiling inside is 11.5', then with the thickness if the ceiling/attic floor (~6") plus the height of the peak of the attic (~7'), I'm guessing between 17 and 18 feet tall, measuring from driveway to front peak of roof.

Thanks. I'm getting ready to build my garage. And I can only be 19 feet tall and that's with a variance. I'm also in ne Ohio. What was the name of your builder?
