Well I basically had both planers torn down, cleaned out and reassembled today, with the better parts going to my machine of course. Filled up the compressor and blew out the remaining stubborn saw dust from both machines. Changing the belts was much more involved then I thought.
For those interested you have to remove the gear/lock bar to access the top pulley, loosen the tension bolt and then take off the belt. Its not hard to do, just lots of pieces to remove to get to it.
Now I just need to test them both out and make sure they are running good.
