My guess is the Jag sat a little low for the lift arms, so it was a quick "lift kit" to get the necessary clearance :lol_hitti

You got it. I was in a rush to use the darn thing so I rigged a lift with boards I had laying around. I will build a proper step ramp later on.

Love the build! What lights are you using? I like the effect.

Those are just three water resistant can lights I picked up at menards. Traditional incandescent floods.

Township zoning... So no one in the entire town has a garage bigger that 1500 sq ft? Or is it a precentage based off of your primary residence size?

Based on land owned. There are buildings bigger, but they are on land greater in size than my acre.

The heat is on!

Wow! My eyes are going all buggy trying to work this all out! :wtf: Looks pretty sweet tho. Do you have plans to build something to protect it?

Love the space BTW! It will be nice to be able to wash all the salt of the cars during the winter in a warm garage if you choose to do so.

I will probably build a cage or something around it. Have lots of things to do still, but with heat it will be a good winter hang out.

Is the concrete warm yet ? I've heard it'll take a few days for the heat to start coming out of it and alot of fuel to get it initially warm.

I am a simple guy and like the ability to hang things easily anywhere on the walls so I am lining the garage with 1/2 osb. I put white steel on the ceiling. I am going to paint the osb behind where the golf simulator is black and then around the first bay, where I am going to wash cars, I will coat it with something like epoxy coat or bed liner or something (any ideas?) to seal it.

Been a long time since my last post. I have done a lot, but there is still more to do. It is very functional at this point. I have air, 2 post lift, computer, golf simulator, ammo reloading, poker table, fridge.... Been using it all. Still have some osb to put up on the walls (next winter) and some serious organization is in order. Last picture is the car that has spent the most time on the lift, she runs stong now!

Just put a screen over one of my doors. Has anyone put a pully system on theirs? Any tips?

Ken here from BuildThreads, Inc.

Congrats and nice work Azgdds - this build thread was chosen as a Best Build Thread pick for this week.
hat_tip.gif

What this means is that a bunch of guys who like to build stuff (cars, trucks, 4x4s, bikes, cabins, boats, planes, and garages) and have read a ton of build threads, thought that this build thread makes a valuable contribution to online DIY culture.

So, without further ado:

Congrats again and cheers!
