Thanks for all your help Wylie. I will use a separate circuit. The main panel is in the garage. There's a 100 amp sub panel in the house so the main has a bunch of open spots. Being that it's only a small fan I could probably just come off a nearby outlet.
I plan on building an outbuilding in a few years so I've gained a lot of good knowledge from you that will help when it's time to wire it up.
