Good looking lights. Somebody really needs to come up with a direct wire solution for these sams/costco lights everybody is using these days. the cords and plugs are for the birds.

More work done on the interior. Carpet squares in the spare bedrooms. Some sort of rubber flooring for the closest. And additional work on the master shower.

Coming together, slowly but surely...

Finishing touches on tile work. Time to grout and seal the corners...

Thank you for posting the floor plan sketches. Very nice layout.

Bathroom is going to be gorgeous. I like how you did the walls in the shop and the ceiling. If you don't have fans yet, I saw some Hampton Bay industrial fans on another GJ build. Reasonable price and good review.

Looking forward to updates on the both the living quarters and the shop.

Thanks for the fan suggestion --- I actually just got my fan in the mail and installed. I did some research and found something relatively cheap in the fan world, has great reviews, and after installing --- it is confirmed to move a ton of air. Has a controller at floor level with reverse and infinite speed control. All in for right at $200.

My electrician just installed a $3500 fan from BigAssFans a week ago and said this moves every bit as much air as that one.

So time will tell....

That tile work looks great from here, one question though. Are you putting tile on the front edge of the step over into the shower?

Yes....that will be tiled. I'm going to do that short wall and the backside in the accent tile that was used for the border. Will also do this on the short wall that frames in the Jacuzzi. Want to set it off a little bit and break up the greys.

Looks nice. Where is your tile from? I think I have the same tile in my kitchen.

The tile is Menards. All the floor tile in the baths and hallway is stock tile from there....relatively cheap.

The master shower is Menards also, but special order.

The accent tile is closeout from Lowe's. Got it for 7.99 a square instead of 26 a square. Had to hit up a few different Lowe's to find enough.

For clarification what fan and controller did you end up going with?

Canarm Industrial Ceiling Fan 60" 46000 CFM - CP60HPWP

Item #: T9Z653106

Sold By: globalindustrial.com

Price: $99.95

Controller has to be bought separately....think it's about $30.

Hasn't been hot yet, but I can tell you, this fan moves a ton of air!

Everything looks great! Any updates? I'm planning on moving forward with a project like this next summer.
