My SS ( I don't know his GJ handle, only his name) sent me a small modelers vise, all refinished, and the Swiss army knife of Solingen Fishing knives! Lots of tools combined on the different blades. I should have taken a pic of the other side as well, as there is a diamond shaped reflective piece. Very unique knife!

Thanks "Jason"!

OK, My goof: my SS was Drsung, I found your note at the "bottom" when I was recycleing the bubble pack(on the "bottom" because I opened it from the bottom!

Thanks again for your thoughtful gifts!:thumbup::thumbup:

Bowtie Billy now has a new Chevy Nova owners' manual and the shop kitties have a couple bags of treats.

I haven't had much computer time today to post these pics up or research it much yet but it'll have a very good home and be put to great use.

I didn't know who my benefactor was until I opened his PM today but must say it was the biggest and coolest Christmas surprise ever! Thank you bluebolt!!! << hugs >> You ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Camera is missing in action & phone is dead. Heading to work to keep the lights on.

Thanks CoopVa for the dandy gun cleaning gear. I'm hoping to put it to use next weekend and I'll try to post up a photo of a stripped down Beretta Extrema2.

Once again, thank you brother.

Not sure who my SS was but they were from PA. Thank you for the Williams wrenches and the wrench holder. I really like the piece of quartz you included. Did you dig it up? If so that is very cool.

Thanks, Ben

So I gathered all I had and sent your way in hope that I was able to add to your collection! Oh and i ordered me a set of the wera too, I couldn't help myself as I thought those are nice and you know what I'll get us both one!!!:lol_hitti

My secret santa was Duct Tape Man. Troy did an outstanding job. I am very happy with my stuff.

I have a bit of a pliers problem, and Troy contributed three very nice Channellock pieces to that problem, none of which I had yet. also got a speed square, Snappy coozie, orange utility knife (did I mention I like orange?) and a sweet pry bar.

He also included an awesome banner to hang in my shop, so I already went by and did that. It looks great.

thank you Troy. have a Merry Christmas!

Glad you like your gifts, gipraw! I tried to get everything made in USA, you know the saying, that when you buy American the job you save might be your own, so I believe in American made tools wholeheartedly. The prybar I believe was made by Vaughn. Anyways, Merry Christmas, hope you get some great use out of them!

Loranger took good care of me for my first ever G.J.S.S.
He obviously searched a few threads here to get stuff I wanted and needed. Every thing is going to the box at work or the box here at home.

Thank you so very much Loranger. Fantastic job and very generous.
Thanks again.

My secret santa must have read some of my posts or is a really good mind reader. All the way from Australia I received a pair of knipex mini bolt cutters, something I have wanted for a long time, but never pulled the trigger on. What really spooked me is an OLD Plomb body hammer. I somewhat secretly collect the old Plomb hammers and use them for my vintage tool box restoration hobby. Included was also a nice Australia cricket hat, a country I hope to visit some day. He also reminded me that they are 180° from our season, expecting a 100°F Christmas.

Thanks alot Steve, hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas. It sounds like we have alot in common. I don't think I have your user name so if you could post or PM I would like to put a name with a name.

Beatcad, that is too cool, a hand delivered SS gift.

it was tough to see what you might have wanted, especially when i saw your SS wanted list after i had already sent out the package, would have thrown in some browns stuff but it was already gone :( tried to put together something that i know anyone that tinkers in a garage would need at some time or another without getting too general. you were a bit of a mystery as far as wanted tools went.

also, hope i didn't give you a heart attack with the multiple box prank. some people might have died thinking all they were getting was a hf 18 gauge nailer after opening to see a milwaukee box :p

i have no idea who my SS was. the box came without any real kind of shipping label... had SS on it, and that was about it.... i thought it might have been something other than the tool even though it looked unopened (because i've pulled that one before).

turns out it was the tool! pretty awesome of whoever did that, they knew im pretty much on a red binge right now getting everything i need for all kinds of work and home projects! thanks a lot to my SS for this year.

Ian.

I already posted my gift which is awsome , but I must make note that it's handcrafted with precision and care. a lot of time went in to making this clock, like the precision cover on the back side of the clock that is clamped in place by tightening the rod bolts , the piston is tapped with set screws to hold the rod to the wrist pin.

Thanks again !

Thanks to my SS davesnothere, I got a pretty cool bunch of stuff in a very artfully decorated shipping box and a nice letter. Very thoughtful. Merry Christmas!

And here's the haul... Matco calendar, NAPA Fallen Heroes Fund tshirt, SK Tools ballcap (nice!), Snap-On can coozy, some cool Snap-On buttons, a roll of "I Love Bacon" duck tape (bacause... bacon!!!)... SK ratchet rebuild kit, snap ring pliers, S-K magnetic screwdriver (I didn't have one of those), some metric S-K wrenches, and three S-K ratchets, two in 1/2-inch drive! The 42470 rat looks barely used and like new! What a wonderful gift. I will be wearing that hat tomorrow!

Oh, and don't worry about the dog hair, with my faithful mutt around, if it didn't have hair, it soon will. Merry Christmas my fellow tool hounds!
