Rockauto.com had them for half anywhere else.Whew!!! that is impressively crusty!
How are you sourcing the bearings?
Good to see progress on it!

Wow. I'd be living out of a suitcase if i brought one home right now though.![]()
My favorite youtube channel is dieselcreek. i watch all these vids and want one, but other than building a driveway to my shop, i have no use for one. I need to do that this fall, i'll probably just get the 2 bottom plow out and knock the sod off, then drag it off with the box blade. I could hire someone, but what's the fun in that??
As far as a D7, do you know how big that thing is??? I had a D5M for the driveway we have now. The thing was GIGANTIC. It was a fun weeks rental though.![]()
You know i'm into Olivers right? Here's today's hat....Since we're on the subject of crawlers/dozers, here's mine:
This is much smaller than something like the D7... mine weighs in around 3500 lbs. In this series, they also have dozer versions.
I have used this crawler tractor on my acreage to pull a rotary mower for cutting the pasture. Not so much in the last few years as my neighbor now cuts it and bales it for his cows. Saves me a ton of time and the grass goes to good use.

Yes that sounds like a solid plan and a good time...... Maybe I need to buy one and then buy a piece of property that's suitable for someone who owns a D7 and a few dozen chainsaws?
Yes that matches my understanding also. I do not know what gauge he had. I think the only reason he bought it was to get into the fields earlier than others. i don't believe he had it long. They went all wheeled Olivers after that.Mine is the HG68, meaning it has the wide stance. They also have narrower versions too, like the HG42. The OC-6 is the next newer generation from the HG's.
It is a pleasure to drive this machine... it turns very smoothly due to the Oliver/Cletrac clutching/braking.
It was more of an availability issue with Amazon. Sept 11 earliest delivery. Normal bearing suppliers aren't open on Saturday. Rock auto already shipped em.You have probably checked, but I've gotten a few bearings from ebay. Another surprising source I've used is fastenal.
Probably a few other sources with some digging...
How much was each bearing on amazon?
Don't remember pricing. 382 387 if you want to check. Had to buy em separatelyYou have probably checked, but I've gotten a few bearings from ebay. Another surprising source I've used is fastenal.

Well you do play with significantly larger trucks than i do lol...When I need some, I just change my brakes...
