Thanks Strouty, although i'm not sure you have a handle on how i manage time... lol.
Yesterday we brought home the last of the round bales for the year. I palletized them and then we went into the machine shed and put up 2 sections of pallet rack, after which we palletized all my engines sitting around and shelved them. Then as the rain was hitting, we put 2 more bales in the wife's barn and 5 bales in my machine shed. It must have rained good overnight, the area is a swamp now. There were several lifts of wood which ended up sitting outside because we were just out of daylight and working by flashlight, and i called it quits after i nearly ran over my wife's leg with the forklift. I processed those this afternoon after the rain quit and threw out a few pcs of mdf, which were now triple sized. The plywood looks salvagable and the steel looked unchanged.
I pinched some meat off my thumb during pallet racking shelf install, and so my left hand is a little useless. Trying to decide what to tackle for the rest of the night.
I'm back on 3 days a week at work, 2 at home, so that might help keep things moving.
Most of the Audi parts have showed up, but there's a few stragglers, and the brake lines i absolutely cannot do without are delayed until late october. They are specials, no substitutes. RS4 braided stainless for the brembos on the car.
We're also toying with the idea of purchasing a 05 Passat TDI wagon to have around as a spare car, so i don't get into quite as big a pickle as earlier this year. Not sure on that one yet. No rust really, but high miles. And cheap. Jury out on that one.
