or tell her it is on loan from work.
I took the added precaution of getting it delivered to work as I do most stuff.![]()

HOTFR8, during a recent visit to the Shed Downunder, suggested this camera angle looking from my work area into the office where the Model A is would be a good one for a photo, I hope I have done it justice

Thanks for the feed back.![]()

.That's some nice old tools you have there.
I really like that shave (top in pic) with the interesting profile.
Tune that up and put a nice edge on your next Red Gum table!
No, Mrs 1/2 Cup loves the drive, I pottered in the shed in peace and quite.![]()
Shush......You say that you may get him in trouble.
I had my son add some instant "PATINA" to this piece of wall art with his Thompson Contender .22 last night as target practice. He was under strict instructions not to ruin the sign.

So she loves a road trip.
Looks like he is doing a pretty good job of that all by himself, LOL!
1/2 Cup
) did the road trip. You better believe it, really loves the drive.and it doesn't take much encouragement I might add.
Most weekends she is in Melbourne showing the pup, yesterday she showed at Shepp and won best of bred then she's of to Seymour next weekend.
The main reason I didn't go today is that I am in Melbourne for work tomorrow.
Cheers
Hey 1/2 Cup... did you ever do anything with those insulators? I've got access to some and haven't come up with anything cool to do with them except bird seeders!![]()
I'm nuts over your antique tools. In particular the antique drill press. I would just have to restore that one!! Good job on posting, and I will try as soon as I can to put up some more of mine!!!!
Thanks for posting!!
Best Regards

[/URL]Those stools are little rippers and i love the old tools, are you going to make an old display board or tool cabinet for them?
I've got a drill press similar to that but it has a cutter head in it. Stamping shows buffalo N.Y. Hadn't really seen anything similar.
That's a real nice drill press, I can see where Dawn got their inspiration from.
You are right the cutter head is unique, can it be removed and would it accept shanked drill bits??
I am leaning toward light fittings as well.
Nothing has been ruled in or out at this point..
Cheers...
Lee, I have an original old glass shop counter with cast iron feet like the ones I used on the potbelly, my aim is to use this to display some of the bits and pieces Mrs 1/2 Cup quite often rotates my stuff in her displays in the house as well. Our house is a bit like a museum anyway..
Cheers.

You're allowed to have some of your stuff in the house?
I usually get "what's that doing in here?...take it back out to the shed and while you're out there, mow that grass" (insert sound of a whip cracking here).
Of course I'm only joking... ...the boss doesn't actually own a whip.
(Forntunately for me, my lovely wife doesn't read this forum).
By the way 1/2 Cup, I do love the old tools collection - I've never seen a hand operated drill press before.
If you had the space, you could set-up a small bench with the old tools on and about it.
Mark
Like your stool.
Here's mine.
I've been dragging it around from job to job for a few years now.
Works with my drafting height desk/ plan table.
And, I don't have to walk across the floor, I roll!
