Haven't checked in on the Shed Downunder for a bit. Had to go back quite a few pages.
Looking forward to seeing what you come home with next!
We've had a pending sale on our house, and haven't wanted to bring home anything that would require a lot of effort to move twice.
But the temptation is always there........
Best,
Riven, pending house sale "interested " in following the move. I can understand you not wanting to move stuff twice.
All the best with it.
I tell it like I see it.
I noticed you had been in Hunter Killer mode with the SPAM the other night. No posts but you deleted nearly a full page of SPAM.
HOTFR8 Me to.
It did get a little busy knocking out SPAM the other night but we got there in the end.
Steve I have finally gotten back to visiting after a few weeks getting Sarah back on a road to recovery. She sends her prayers and will be glad you are doing some better as are we. I purchased a Harbor Freight shear some time ago and have been very happy with it. Cuts 16 gage no problem and is still sharp. Cost me $125 U.S. at the time.
Bobby its great to here
Sarah is on the road to recovery and our thoughts and prayers are with her.

That's a great deal on the Shear it will come in very handy
1/2: great to hear you are ORGANIZING THE SHED DOWNUNDER or maybe just getting stuff out of there that you no longer use or need (I am trying to follow down the same path).
i bet you have days where you don't feel well at all, but it sounds like your spirits are up and you still have one of the greatest support groups around.
I (we) are still sending prayers for your improved health and when you get time to snap a few pictures of your new cleaned up space or even the engines you are spiffing up that would be great.
until then keep waking up and trying to make the best out of each day.
cheers!!
Drives Organising the shed is like a breath of fresh air let me tell you. I still have a ways to go but we are getting there
Andrew: thanks again for the updates and if you have pictures or videos to post please do. also best of luck with your racing season and not sure if you are finishing up or about ready to start a new one soon.[/QUOTE]
Andrew thank you for posting.
Steve, when I read through the Prednisolone Steroid more common side-effects I got worried. Either I've forgotten I'm taking the drug or that drug is a preview of life in our twilight years. I'm real happy your dose is decreasing over time.
Bob Prednisolone has some real nasty side effects if it is not managed correctly and they effect some worse than others.
Xtremek It sure is.
Hi All,
Just a quick one to let you know Dad is in for his regular grease and oil change. He shall fill you in on any details. Thanks all for your thoughts.
Andrew thank you.
Andrew thanks for the update.
Bobby
Thanks for the update. A good clean out of old junk can be cathartic.
Hewey it certainly is
1/2: I know you like red brick probably more than I do and I like them a lot so I went through about 1000 of my 2500 or so that I have laying around to pull out about 100 good ones of some that were once an old street here in SEATTLE back in the 1920's to put at the base of a couple of 6x6's of my Pergola. I'm also finishing up another row of brick border around my yard. once I mortar the bricks in place i'll make a cedar top out of some 3x12 cedar I have to finish it off.
more prayers and good thoughts that you are getting better with all this medical care and hope to see you posting and doing stuff in the SHED DOWNUNDER very soon.
Andrew: thanks for posting updates and we are all pulling for your dad to get on the other side of this in better shape than ever so he can teach you and your boys a few more things.
Drives red bricks are my favourites. Your border looks great.

See update below
Dad is going pretty well considering the bug he caught, all in all he is doing great but the hospital staff are keeping him very busy.
Things such as strength training plus the usual hospital checks and balances he is kept in good hands.
Clearly he would be rather doing his own to do list but for the time being he is behaving well considering the situation.
All again thanks for your support.
Thank you
Andrew.
Thanks again for the update.
xtremek
1/2.........Your suggestion for the security lights worked. Cleaned and adjusted.
HOTFR8 I am glad I could help.
No one does the edges like Dad, it's a little wet so I've also been instructed to hold off.
Andrew
1/2: glad to hear you are on the mend and looking forward to you posting a few good words on everybody's threads and showing us how a quality job can be done when you start doing a few things in the Shed Downunder again.
for now rest up and get well and i'm sending a few more prayers.
cheers
Fr8: were you just testing 1/2's mental strength with a few electrical issues? happy to hear you got them resolved!!
Drives I am getting there now
Take it easy and get well. A big is bad enough by itself.
Dwight
Dwight I am moving in the right direction.
All firstly thank for dropping buy and just to refresh where I am at.
Two weeks ago I caught a bug which hospitalised me because of my weak immune system. It took a number of days with blood cultures and tests to isolate the bug and treat it with the appropriate anti biotics which worked really well.
The infection knocked the heck out of me but I have responded very well to a number of medication changes.
I have now been moved to the
Rehabilitation unit to regain some strength with
Physiotherapist,
Occupational therapists and
Dietician running a specific program for me in their fully equipped gym as a result I am improving day to day and hope to be out and back home by the week end.
Once again thank you one and all.
