Glad to hear you're feeling some better 1/2 Cup. With all those gym workouts you'll be buff in no time. Wishing you a speedy return to the shed. I bet the race engines miss your special touch.

1/2: great to hear you are working out even if not a full workout yet. if you get some time and want to post up a few pics of your gym over on the GET HEALTHY thread please do and mention some of the exercises and workouts cause a lot of guys here are needing good ideas to just avoid some of the pains of getting older?

also thank you again for continuing to moderate this forum and a big KUDOS for your help keeping the SPAMMERS out of here!!

sending prayers and good wishes and you are in my (our) thoughts always!!!

Cheers!!

All,
Dad has been home since last Friday, he has enjoyed some shed time despite being rather chilly, time in the house in the warmth is more cosy. I can assure you dad will be watching all posts and correspondence on the GJ.
We appreciate all the get well msgs so keep them coming.
Regards Andrew

Thanks for the update Andrew. I'm sure your Dad is probably using some of the quiet time indoors in the warmth sketching up plans for the Flatheads while scouring the online sites for lathe tooling and a suitable vintage mill for the shed. Time well spent I say!

1/2: great to hear you are at home resting and maybe spending a little time in the Shed too. hope you are feeling better every day and hopefully the doctors have found a way to keep the bugs from finding you until your immune system can handle them again.

in case the weeds have come up a bit either at your place or your rental I found a fairly easy method of getting them out of tight spaces is this fairly cheap propane torch.

more prayers and good thoughts for you on their way.

ANDREW: thanks for the updates and maybe pick up one of these propane torches for your big place too, but have a hose handy just in case you start burning something you didn't want to.

cheers!!

1/2: I (we) all hope you are feeling better and that you are getting some quite time at home with your family and maybe a little QST too.

i've got a new old red brick project I'm starting so i can continue to try and make my yard as nice as yours and also hopefully control most of the weeds from coming back.

cheers

Although I can't do much from up here, my thoughts are with our very special Aussie friend as well as his extended family. Steve, do what you have to and I know your doctors are doing everything in their power to help. It might be hard to feel but we are all pulling hard for you.

And from England, more positive thoughts Andrew.

I am sure he knows, all those who never post replies up and are in one or another way not responding, will have Steve in their thoughts and prayers.
