Finally after many years I was able to start on a new shop behind my house. We have an attached 3 car garage and the last stall was too full of car parts, tools and junk to do anything out there. 22x36 was the largest I could build on my corner lot.
I'm on a corner lot so I'm adding a second driveway to the cul-de-sac behind my house. Never mind the blue playhouse. It's sitting there temporarily until I can finish the workshop and move it back to a better location.
The view from our deck.
A short run for the electrical and gas lines.
The brow going over the door. I originally wanted a longer one but they said 3' was the farthest they could go without needing an engineer for the stress on that wall. I like the 3' one. It still adds shelter and some character to the front.
I put in storage rafters so now there is a space above accessible with the pull-down ladder to store stuff.
Time for insulation.
