I personally don't see the need for 98% of the **** on phones nowadays, ITS A DAMN PHONE. That is all it needs to do, I wouldn't have one at all if it wasn't cheaper than a land line.
I love getting my email on mine, I work for a company that does everything via email and I rarely see a computer so I can keep up much easier. Considering the service area I cover and time spent out its worth it.
No, a phone is not a tool. You can't build or fix anything with it. Teenage girls love them, just to dispel any further doubt. This should really be in Free Parking.
I can do a huge amount with my phone, I can look up whether or not something is hazardous, how to approach something that is unfamiliar, take pictures and keep notes that I don't have to transcribe later. In the field I am in its probably my most useful tool.
