Trading secretsKirk, it won't be long before you have some tricks to share with me. Necessity is the mother of invention and stubbornness is the father.
Sins of my youth. Bone spurs and arthritis removal from a very old injury. Loading up the leg press machine, I dropped a 45lb plate on my right big toe, about 15-20 years ago.I went back a few pages trying to find out what happened to your toe!

I think got our money's worth. 12 Michigan winters and 240,000 miles, so I'm not complaining.

This is my Dad's old truck, and he took really good care of it, even though he used it very hard. The rockergard is factory, and the truck hasn't ever had any body work, to my knowledge. That is pretty good for most vehicles in the salt belt. You won't get much more than that unless you undercoat them every year. Although it looks like yours has had some bodywork done to it? I see what looks like rockerguard along the bottom of the body panels.
For the $250 it costs, I'll just replace the fuel pump. The fuel lines look pretty good on the frame rails.Excellent!
I didnt realize you had that many miles on it. Maybe Theres a plastic top and ******* replacement fuel pump option?
Just did one one a 99 gm van, and ironically the fuel pump was the only not corroded to hell component in the entire fuel delivery system. Everything else needed to be replaced up to the engine.
