Talk about a fight. Since I didn't take it apart, I don't know where/what all the bolts are for 8 ball (the Tahoe). I couldn't figure out what the bolts for the sway bar saddle clamps were. Tried M8, M10, M12, 5/16", and 3/8" of different pitches. Nope. Come to find out they're M10 Tri-lobed. They are not circular.
Next, I couldn't get the right bump stops from my local parts store. They were so oversized that I couldn't get the shocks on. Ended up trimming them down with a 4 1/2" grinder and the sabre saw. Still might have to trim the height down.

Now the left rear shock is hitting the lower mount. I might have the lift block in backwards. I'll call Rough Country later this morning to find out. And I can't get the return line on the new steering gear box to thread. Ugh. So, all I have left is the two above issues (gear box line and shock mount), the sway bar, bleed the brakes, installing the ds inner fender, an alignment, and it's ready for the road.

Then it's get some maintenance done on 2 of our DD and on to the Tale of 2 Cruzes.

Sigh. Only 4 more big project VEHICLES before I can get to the cabover. But who's counting.
PS., if anyone local wants some glass cleaner, power steering fluid, let me know. I have a TON of miscellaneous automotive chemicals that I'll never be able to go through. Already gave away 2 or 3 cases of Goodwrench rear end dope and 10 gallons of antifreeze. Oh, and transmission parts and tools too.
