old man! How are you doing.

You're welcome. The problem was that we had no clue what the engine came out of, just that it was a TBI motor.Cool stuff, thanks fro sharing. I am actually surprised that the engine serial number didn't make figuring things out easier. I guess whenever you buy an engine, you want to get the VIN to.
Good to see your making progress on projects, but that you're also taking time for family.
Are tourist type places busy there?
You're very welcome. Thanks for sharing pictures of your vacation.

Kirk, I loved the '56 Cadillacs when they were new and still love them today. My favorite was the Eldorado but the Sedan deVille was one of the few 4-door cars I thought looked cool. Little stuff like the door handles hiding in the window trim was cool enough to not need electric poppers.
The only 4-door I loved more was the '57 Eldorado Brougham.

Sounds like an interesting combo, I can't deny that it makes me want to do some crazy project.
So you feel better I am going tomorrow morning to but a crew cab shell for one of my trucks.
They were, uh, noisy.... Performance?? You know, loud=power.. I didn't have a Honda, my 250 Yamaha DT1 with a tuned Bassani pipe was much quieterSo, are they supposed to help the performance? How do they sounds?
Geez I wish I had know you was this close you was only 10 min from my house if you was at the House on the Rock.
That's twice now I've been to the Cheese Head state and I didn't drop by a friend's place when I was nearby. In my defense, I was, and still, am very concerned about getting SWMBO's "She Shed" put up.Next time you gonna be that close to my place let me know I'd have a cold beverage and a campfire all ready for you to stop by and visist for a spell if you was so inclined!
