Weld a washer on the adjustment screw of your welding clamps. Makes adjusting them easier, good for hanging, and can be used for other things. Or not.

With the new Vise grips you can use an allen key in the thumbscrew to tighten them.

The washer works pretty well to provide grip for twisting if you have bulky welding gloves on.

The old days we welded a 3/8 eyebolt to the end. Worked great to pull things to roof.

I've bought several sets of used vise grips that have that mod, apparently welders now the trick but don`t share info that much

Ive never welded a washer on, I did swap the oe Adjust Screws for an Eyebolt version...

Actually all the advantages mentioned above coupled w the fact that they're just DAMN nice is why I'm slowly moving to the Milwaukee clamps exclusively
