Well as some of you may know I just finished me tile floor. So iv been looking for something else to do. I settled on a pallet wall. I cut the planks off of pallets ripped them down to 3 different sizes 3",4",and 5" then i sanded them all and stained them. Here is my progress so far.
Finished with new lights

finished! Mind my mess I finished it late last night. Took 207 boards to complete

So far yes I will only be doing one wall. This is the wall you see when you pull in

Looks great..But I've always liked that look! Been collecting and stripping pallets myself to finish the inside of a 10x12 shed. I like being able to hang things anywhere..Plus burning the leftovers in the Firepit..

I too am a fan of that look
I thought that one wall would be enough until I stood back and looked again
Now three walls in my man cave are covered in old fence wood
Yours looks great with 3 different board sizes!!
Lot of work.

That's awesome. I'm going to do something similar in my building, never thought about pallets. Barn boards are so freaking expensive.

That looks great! I've been debating doing the same to at least one wall in my shop, now that I've seen it done, I think I'll do it.
Any idea how a many pallets you salvaged?

So far I have 157 planks up I need about 60 more to finish it for a total of 217 planks. Pictures do not do it justice is is amazing in person my neighbors all came to see it by word of mouth.

I have a dozen or so pallets sitting in the garage waiting to be taken apart, sanded, stained and turned into an accent wall in the house. Great DIY project where the end result looks much fancier and more expensive than it actually was.

Looks great!

I'm going to cover my drywall beam in my living room with them next weekend. My wife loves the wall. I'll post close up pics tonight after work

Really cool idea, around here it's illegal to throw away pallets, so getting them free or cheap is easy.. Wondering how this would work as a floor!

One of the members on here did the complete inside of his garage using fence boards that he picked up here and there. It turned out super.

As for the OP's wall, I like it :rocker: Sometimes you have to look outside of the box.

I had the same inspiration about a year ago, just a little bigger.
my garage has a second story(20x45). I used 3 sawsalls, 225 pallet, and 10,000 air nails. here you go.
 P.S. the bar top is also made from the pallets 2x4 cross peices.

That looks great man. We did something similar to my daughters room, but didn't use pallets (too labor intensive for my 15 year old).

Ah. Glad I saw this. Was thinking of doing something like this in one of my bays, but didn't know what it would look like. Until now!
Thanks!
