The other day I was looking at the wasted space under my box. I thought why not build a drawer with low profile wheels that will blend in with the box. I plan to use the space for bulky items and other items that do not need to be 'secured' in a locking drawer. I built it with 3/4 plywood but used MDF for the drawer face since it paints much better then plywood. I made the handle out of a 2x4 that I cut down to size, ran it through the planer and added a 3/4 aluminum channel that I polished to give it the 'chrome' look much like the tool box handles. I made the wheels from bed frame rollers (support 125lbs each). I bent up some 3" flat bar and welded up a box to house the wheels with a flange on each side to mount them to the drawer bottom. Mounted, the wheels extend 3/8 past the bottom of the drawer so you don't lose drawer depth. The drawer is totaly independent and requires no modifications to the tool box. I painted the drawer gloss black and lined the drawer with some black rubber floor runner that they sell on the roll at Ace. I know some guys put stuff under their box, but you have to stand on your head to get it out or see what is under there. I think this drawer will be handy storage with easy access.

I built two similar drawers that fit the space below the bottom shelf of my workbench although they aren't finished as nicely as yours. Makes a great place for bulky odd shaped items you don't want hanging around or don't fit in a regular drawer.

Thanks guys. :) I just started building a set of hutch style cabinets with flipper doors to go over my box and a side locker type cabinet that will have pull out shelves on slides. None of the cabinets will physically attach to my box. Want to be able to roll it around with out much hassle.

I have thought about that.
I like they way that came out

I'm happy with the way it turned out too. Blends in with the box well. I have about $10 in it. I had the 3/4 plywood on hand. Picked up the wheels, rubber mat for the liner and the alum channel for the "chrome" affect on the drawer pull @ cost plus 5% so this project was inexpensive to say the least.
