Hey guy's, I'm in the market for a 4-post lift and through a lot of surfing I found this brand to be interesting among others as well.

Any feedback on this company?

I can pickup a SS-9000XLT at there location for $3300. Seems well made and it's has many accessories included.

Dont know about their lift but I do know that it is absolutely fabulous that they have the assembly videos showing step by step how to build the darn thing. I really appreciate it when a company does stuff like that.

I've been looking at that lift as well.
It suits me because of it size, it's included features, it is 110v and requires no air.
As I understand, it cannot be certified (ALI?) because of the manual safety latch, which does not bother me.

I've got that lift, I like it. Just one problem...its a little narrow, the tires on my Silverado hang over the sides about 1" each side. Check your measurements carefully. Where are you in PA? Come and look at mine. I'm in Wheeling WV.

Burl, I wanted this to hold a car, GT350, however it can hold a pickup if you'd need to.
In our case an F-150 with a track width of 68'', & 63'' on the Mustang. I believe the track width on your lift is 75''? I wish it had been a few inches wider as I have the room.

Pop's bought one, it went together fine.

Works good so far, only been in service a few weeks though.

Watch the videos, fairly thorough. :)

Tony, you should be able to make a deal on delivery, as my lift came out of Hanover PA. Buy the hydro jack and you could get free delivery. Talk to Tony with Advantage, easy to deal with.

My dad has ordered one to go into my shop. Nice part is that they are setting it up for an auto auction. Said with a car trailer we can back the trailer under it. drop the platform on the trailer to lift the legs up and move it to our place.

Doesn't get any easier then that sleek. For us, I'm thinking 2-3 hours tops to get it all together. Plus 2 hours down & back to pick it up.

We just put this Advantage Lift together, very well thought out and doesn't appear to be weak anywhere. Assembly took 3 hours with with three of us, it had very easy to follow instructions. This is the SS-9000-XLT model, extra tall & extra long.

-If I could change one dimension, it would be the track overall width, as you can see from photo No.1, I would add 4" of width to the outside. Now I've spoken to Tony about this, he said that this current width is a happy medium between pick-ups and very small cars as some would complain about the wider track getting in the way.
Again, not a big deal to us.

-Aluminum ramps are light as one would expect with very little deflection. As far as it's ability to lift, we had my sons friend drive his F-350 (7,500#) onto this unit and it couldn't tell it from my Jetta to our F-150, lifted with ease.

-Casters work well, as we won't be anchoring this to the floor.

-Drip trays are a nice throw in, as are the chock blocks and aluminum stops.

Honestly, we just couldn't find much to ***** about, excellent quality! We're very happy with it's build quality and Tony is very easy to deal with...

How much do they get you for the jack cross-members?
Bendpack the rolling one is 1300 and the stamped steel manual(you lift and move it) that you put bottle jacks on to lift the vehicle to do axle work.. are 250-350 each(jacks not included) It seems a tad much for ine piece of stamped steel sheet.

Keel, I didn't buy that, although I'm rethinking it now.
I'll let you know what the price when I contact Tony.

Looks like the list is $750.

That for the rolling crossmmer or just the stamped steel type..
And with or without jacks..

the bendpack was 250 for the 2 ton stamped steel crossmember no jacks
350 for 4 ton no jacks
and 1300 for the rolling/sliding one

What is your garage ceiling height? I am considering purchasing one of these lifts when I get my garage done and want to make sure I have the room.

My door height is 12 foot, inside is 12' x a 4.2% rise for the ceiling. That gives me more height in the middle of the shop so I can stand with no problem under the lift while working.

I used a 16 ft trailer with my pick up. Had to go to a freight forwarder and pick it up. Once home, I had to take the two boxes apart and move most things one by one into the shop. The hardest items were the two red platforms the wheels the car sets on. I have a gantry crane so used that to move them. The only time I needed help was positioning the red platforms in place, needed the crane and an extra set of hands. A fork lift would have been much easier but not necessary.

That trailer will be fine, and yes, the rolling jack will fit on there as well...plenty of room.
The lift weighs around 3000#, the jack an additional 300#

Make sure to place a few 2'' x 4'' under the lift, this could make it easier to slip straps under it if you have to lift it.

My ceiling height is 13'6''.

Hi, been thinking about getting one of these lift. I see in you photo you have a mid 50 truck on the lift, and a Camarillo under it. How high are your ceiling ?And did you have to install a hi lift track for the door? Looks nice!

Mine is not the XLT, its just the standard 9000 lb Advantage lift. But I love it! Had it about 6 months now and I use it quite a bit. My ceilings are 11 ft, and I can lift my full size Blazer project so I can work under it pretty comfortably (I'm 6'3"). When not in use I park my lowered 1970 C-10 under the lift.

Bought mine through a dealer in PA. Lift was $2995, I added the rolling air powered jack for $750. They delivered and assembled for $865 including hydraulic oil. Good fast service and totally turn key.

I picked this one because a) they would deliver and install and b) the lift was 110V and c) the dimensions and capacity worked for me.
