So getting ready to install wiring for t30 Ingersoll compressor with an auto time condensate drain with and contactor for the motor and I'm going to add and on/off switch to my contactor being my compressor shares a wall with my master bedroom closet. So what I'm thinking is buy my wire with a third leg so I can run a neutral and hook my condensate drain into my contactor on/off switch so the drain isn't going off all night when compressor isn't running. So good idea bad idea or am I jut over thinking this ? I just don't want my wife to kill mainly if the compressor kicks on in the middle of the night and when the auto drain goes off every 45 minutes all the time.
