Leaking at the pressure adjustment knob, so before I remove this I'm looking for a solution to seal the leak. Teflon tape?

There are no seals up there. Probably the regulator diaphragm is leaking, and that's not worth fixing.

The pressure is behind that diaphragm and spring. If it's leaking there, you need a new diaphragm. Open it and you will see. You can seal the threads with a copper gasket or some pipe dope but you won't be fixing it and it will get worse over time and probably quickly and if it were me it would fail just when I needed it most.

Sometimes simply removal & cleaning the parts then reinstall can seal up the leak, at least if they are the same as argon regulators etc. which I'm thinking it is.

Unscrew the knob all the way, then unscrew the hex & there is likely a diaphragm, plate, & spring in there. Clean those in soapy warm water & clean out the housing with a rag. Assemble it all in reverse.
