Air Compressor Questions ??

New here and I'm sorry for asking these questions probably for the 100th time, but I was getting blurry eyed reading through old posts. I'm interested in getting an air compressor for my garage and I plan on eventually running just about everything ocassionally ... sanders, nippers, cutoff tools, sandblasters, etc. I've been looking at compressors in the $700.00 to $1000.00 range and my questions are:

a. Single Stage with better CFM or Two Stage with lower CFM??

b. Does anyone know of decent compressor for around $800 - $900 ...
60 - 80 gal. tank and no less then 15cfm??

In answer to your first question, the two stage with less output is definitely better. It will give dryer air, will run more quietly, will put more air in the same size tank via higher pressure, and last longer.
