Be careful with the CH tank. Most of them are not rated for the higher pressure of dual stage air compressors run. Most single stage tanks are only rated 150-175 PSI for pumps that run 135 PSI. Dual stage are typically rated 200 PSI for pumps that operate up to 175 PSI. You might use it as a secondary tank for regulated air pressure.

Lol.. probably wasn't originally a match, but I'd love to have that pump on the little 30 gallon tank.

The 60gal tank will be used on a 125psi single stage unit.

The pump was originally on the 30gal tank. It was a gas powered unit. I have an 80gal tank it will mount nicely on.

Oh that makes sense.. I really want a small tank with a big pump.. would suit my needs better then my 60 gallon since I would gain back sooner space.

I'll give you 3 cheeburgers and 3 onion rings, thereby netting you a 200% ROI.

Otherwise, .....

This may be stupidly obvious, but keep in mind you don't have to mount it ON another tank.

Mostly to avoid welding on a pressure vessel.

Just on some base NEXT to and plumbed to the new tank.

Probably a "DUH" thing, but never know.

And just as Duh, it could be repowered by electric if wanted. Marc

Good advice. I plan on using an electric motor. I'm not sure if I'll sell it off or keep it for myself. I built a compressor with a Craigslist SB705 that I'm pleased with. The SB is a higher quality(in my opinion) pump compared to this series of Quincy units.
