I can tell you this much: it's big, it's red, and it's an air machine. Also, you can apparently use it to float a hot air balloon, because the Big Red Air Machine is capable of superceding all laws of physics and thermodynamics. It's a keeper!

From the pic, it looks like a single piston machine. You're not going to get a lot of air volume out of that setup.

Don't quote me on this, but while I was writing my earlier pithy reply, I ran across a webpage where Big Red was listed as the manufacturer for rebranded Snap On compressors. I can't seem to find it now, but all the SO bootlickers will be sure to let you know if it is indeed the case.
