My 3/8" drive Campbell-Hausfeld air ratchet didn't work today. I used it about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine. But, now, it doesn't spin the turbine inside.
I am thinking about putting some WD-40 in it and try it tomorrow. Maybe it just needs oiling. But, I am not sure if that's what's needed. I have never had one apart before.
Can I take it apart and inspect or replace parts? Where can I get parts if they are needed?
Any info. you can provide would be much appreciated.

The cheap air ratchets, you are better off throwing them away and buying a new one.Costs more to fix than it is worth.

take it apart (if you are going to trash it anyway) and learn what you can from it. never can tell when you might be able to fix or at least keep it for parts. always got sombody thats needing a part or got a ? about something on an impact. it sounds like a bearing or fin got trashed.... never know til you try !!!!
