Going with my projects from scrap aluminum theme . . . here are the welder carts I made some time ago.

I have two small Lincoln MIGs, one set up for steel a WeldPak 155 and the other for aluminum, a ProMIG 175 (which has a spool gun now).

The design was driven by the need to be able to park these under a workbench that has a low horizontal brace about 6” off the floor.

I made a cart for my Miller Diversion 165 TIG, also from scrap aluminum, but I don’t think I have any pictures of it (it’s not all that impressive anyway).

Imagineer: you might want to put all your cool projects in a thread with your name on it since it looks like you have the talent and are making some cool looking and functional stuff.

Riven has a thread he started by just making a table and he's had many different types of projects after that and the thread LIVES ON.

here's a link:

Maybe call yours aluminum welding since it looks like you have the talent. also take plenty of before and during pictures to post with your remarks and maybe teach a few of us that would like to learn more. your choice if you have time and again welcome to the forum

Nice looking carts! I made my cart out of aluminum as well. Hope this isn't thread jacking.

I have since added hooks to secure the cables.

I really like the perforated metal. I'm also going to borrow your filler rod storage idea to implement on my TIG cart.

I'm happy with how the top one came out, even if you never see it with the welder there

Please do, they have worked out well.

I like you're bottle attachment, did you just form it around the bottle?

Really nice carts guys.

I've done the pvc for a filler rod holder. I used rivet nuts and conduit clamps to hold it together. On my next Tig cart(just bought another tig) I'm going to use some thin unistrut mounted horizontal and some vertical pipe hangers. I was only able to get 6 pipes on the old tig cart. I think I can get 9 or 10 on the new cart which is slightly shorter overall.
