if you want to stir drama go to FB or another forum .
To be as dramatic as possible, I will play Ride of the Valkyries in the background as I post this.... That's about as dramatic as I can get. Well, maybe with a little backstory.

I have never used double box end wrenches that are deep. I inherited an SAE set ... was very old... I gave them to a friend who has very few tools and probably a month later I ran into something where they would be useful.. so every now and then I search for them.

Capri Tools 75-Degree Deep Offset Double Box End Wrench Set, 6 to 24 mm, Metric, 10-Piece with Heavy Duty Canvas Pouch (CP11950-10MPK)

Prices reduced from 147 to like 126.

What I don't understand is why they have two 22 mm wrenches.

I don't own any Capri tools but I think people like them here. I want them, I really do, and I like that this particular set comes with a tool roll...

So not a fabulous. I need to have it now, but if you're looking at a set they're reduced

"Kill the waa-bit, kill the waa-bit" :D

In the last couple years I could've used deep offset wrenches twice. 1st was the fuel tank strainer on a Mercedes W126 (46mm, a 91 420) - managed to use a large set of tongue and groove pliers but it wasn't ideal, thank goodness it broke loose. 2nd was a part of the rear suspension on a W-Body GM (W3, an 08 LaCrosse), needed a 19 or was it a 21? :hmm: I don't remember how I got that out but do remember is was hard - the deep offset would've been perfect. One of these days...

Ah yes deals lol. IDK if it's a bargain but I've been looking at these LED garage lights, and this is best deal I found at $54 for 5 hexagons, YMMV
:

in case that doesn't work it's ASIN B0DPL88Y2Q

Worked for me , thanks.

I'd never have considered one of these if I didn't pick up a $12 4 inch chain saw almost a couple of years ago from a place that sells Amazon returns and it's been very useful and has lasted through sometimes being abused.

All I've done is oil the chain often while cutting and it's lasted. The chain has stretched a bit now though , it's also dulled some.

I don't know if it's the case with this , but my 4 inch chainsaw works with my Makita batteries.

I have been using my dewalt 20v "sawzall" with a good wood blade for limbs and trees up to 6" and happy with the results. Are these little battery chainsaws really that much better?

It's an easier tool to pick up and just use. 90% of the time I pick mine up of I need to do a quick cut, any cut really where it only needs to be semi accurate. sometimes I use it as a rasp , works really well for that.

Yes.

My wife won the Stihl version and prefers it over her Milwaukee pole saw, where she can reach. The Milwaukee Hacksall with a pruning blade is a distant third.

I picked up a Dewalt 12” (?) chainsaw but she hasn’t tried it yet. It’s quite a bit bigger than the little Stihl, and I suspect either it’s intimidating or she thinks I’m going to gradually con her into using the gas saws and all the cutting will eventually be her job.

That strategy worked for making mowing the lawn around the house her job, so once bitten, twice shy, I guess.

SWEET!!!! The one I ordered just cleared customs
I ended up returning mine. The quick release and flex head are not a great combo in my opinion. Every time you have to remove a socket you push the head forwards so you have to hold the head in place while removing the socket. Bit of a pain. Paired with the fact that the direction switch is opposite of all my other ratchets, I just felt like it wasn't for me.

That switch direction is honestly what kept me from buying one too. I'm not a quick release guy either. Too bad because they're great ratchets!

Arrived. Here it is pictured next to the 4inch I bought almost 2years ago. Been one of the biggest surprises when it comes to cheap tools. Let's hope this one follows suite

I did pull the trigger and bought this one discounted. However, there are many other similar saws available, cheap, on jungle site. I almost bought another with 2 batteries for around $20 prior...
... And they're probably all the same. Despite cosmetic difference is here and there , this seems to be the exact same tool as my other one , just with a different size chain and guide.

Understood. Just pointing out that this particular deal may have expired (at least for me).

I have also but picked up the my saw posted above a couple months ago on sale for around $19.00. Its cheaper than the sawall blades and works much faster. Will it hold up, who knows , but the bushes I trimmed its paid for itself.I filled a 96 gal yard waste cart up stuffed down with branches in a few miinutes and never killed the first battery. The only drawback is keeping it oiled, which I can say it was probably abused in that regard ,I did oil it when I started. Their oiler squit bottle it came with ***** , i fiqure i would get a old style lever squirt can if i ever use it again in a few years.

I bought one on the first coupon and liked it. I was glad to see the coupon reappear and bought another one. Hell the batteries alone are worth more than the total price.

It worked for me this morning. I need to look into 3d printing an adapter to convert DeWalt batteries to use in this thing. I already have Dewalt 20v/12v/8v as well as Milwaukee 12V and I just picked up an 80V Greenworks chainsaw and pole saw. $20 is awesome, but now I have to deal with another charger?!?!?

The coupon was redeemed for me too and then I still managed to apply the couple code and got it for $19.99
So coupon was redeemed and this discount code was applied .
Must be something about where I live. I just created a "dummy" Amazon account, and still saying no good... Oh, well!
