50 each 5/16 x 3.5" lag screws for $ 0.63/box

Lag screws

I've already taken delivery of 6 boxes (300 screws) for $4.05 total cost.
Have you physically received 6 boxes and not 6 screws? Description says one screw and in the reviews people are saying they received on screw, not a box.

So cheap - but what do you use them for? I can't think of where I'd want to use a lag bolt instead of a structural screw, even at full price.

Bessey clamps !?
WOW. Theses these things are HUGE!
Top of the Amazon ad says, 8"x5".
Lower down says, 14.25" x 7.1" (this the size I got).
Also says 1 Pound weight.
More like 7 pounds!!
Um, maybe the metric and U.S. measurements got confused...
Press on, healthfully and prayerfully.
Wow!
I got mine last week but just brought the box to the garage.
I'll have to look at them. Wondering if mine are the 14.25X7.1 ?

For those that ordered these earlier in the year, Amazon sent a email canceling the Bessey clamps today. The original order does not show on the Amazon order history anymore. I only noticed from checking my email. YMMV
Back again but at $13.59 with a 1-2 month wait (according to my cart, apparently, they were last at $13.01) :

BESSEY CDF408CHV Drop Forged 8 In. x 5 In. Throat Depth, High Visibility Frame, Copper Plated Spindle with Pad & Handle

Bummed about this. I ordered a total of 10 clamps (for work and for home) and received 2.

If you look a little earlier in your email you should likely have a note from Amazon asking you to confirm the extended delivery date. For me, it said if I didn't the order would automatically be cancelled on May 18.

I tend to grab whatever is convenient when making a custom jig or sled, so yes, I've successfully used HDPE. And a bunch of other things. Delrin comes to mind for some serious overkill once. Or laminated phenolic. My current favorite is waxed ipê. Not that it's any better (actually it's really prone to splitting), but it has a certain cool factor :)

I'll probably take them to work, we crate stuff up to ship it occasionally

They're also good for fastening stuff to the ground.
