I posted the 20A plugs a month ago and I didn't buy any... Now I bought 3.

These plugs look like they have one blade turned 90 degrees and won't work in standard outlets. Am I looking at them wrong?

The 20A design has one blade turned horizontal, and one vertical (for 125V). The "normal" one you are thinking of is 15A 125V (two vertical prongs).

To be clear, italics below is tongue in cheek:
Now, there is a reason for all those people who "overspend" to get 20A duplex receptacles, instead of 15A ones.





Explanation: 15A and 20A duplex's are the same internally, as a 15A duplex can be on a 20A breaker, as it is "2" outlets. Just different faceplates, so some on here give others a "hard time" about buying something more expensive when they dont "need" to.
