It has horrible coverage, that really doesn't go that far. 7oz per gal, to cover a whopping 300 sq ft. They really need to work on their concentrate.

Both the Spectracide & "Roundup" are synthetic and have chemicals we can all agree probably aren't the best for consumption, so beyond that qualm, I'd go with the more economical product.

2oz of glyphosate per gallon, and covers 1000 sq st. I can buy a gallon of concentrate for $15-20 as of last year at the ag supply.

Indeed they are. There is warranty support in the USA on them via bondhus, too. I expected none but found a nice lifetime warranty.

Farmer here, general advice for everyone on this topic:
You probably only need ~32 oz/ac of 5.4# glyphosate to kill most everything you have in your yard. That is ~16 oz for a yard if you have a half acre yard. A little more wont hurt (practically)
You do want to make sure it has a good adjuvant package (most will, but double check label).
More water does help - better coverage. So diluting and spraying more wont hurt you
The Spectracide has a few other inclusions which will kill things roundup wont (yes, there are naturally resistant plants). Realistically I doubt it matters for most yards
Mix well, keep off your skin - read the label

Point taken but this isn't highly concentrated Roundup. Reading is fundamental. Did you read the first sentence of the post with the link?

Farmer here, general advice for everyone on this topic:
You probably only need ~32 oz/ac of 5.4# glyphosate to kill most everything you have in your yard. That is ~16 oz for a yard if you have a half acre yard. A little more wont hurt (practically)
You do want to make sure it has a good adjuvant package (most will, but double check label).
More water does help - better coverage. So diluting and spraying more wont hurt you
The Spectracide has a few other inclusions which will kill things roundup wont (yes, there are naturally resistant plants). Realistically I doubt it matters for most yards
Mix well, keep off your skin - read the label
