You just gave me PTSD flashbacks of my dad’s 1970’s oscilloscope that he used when building the Heath Kit TV we had for most of my childhood
. That thing was large and heavy, unfortunately I just moved it a gazillion times without ever learning how to use it. That new one is only a couple inches deep and probably weighs 1/10 of the old blue box.looks like 25' deal is over. Picked up the 1/4 50' at decent price though. I need to make some welding hoses.

You can get that for $60? Last time that I used a scope was the late 90s, and thatTektronix scope was in the low 5 figures back then, but this is so cool, it's hard to resist, even if I don't really need it.
this is a different make but I suspect it's merely a rebrand. I don't need a scope, I don't know how to use one really, but it's a hard deal to pass up; we'll see if anything majorly wrong when it arrives based on those two videos.
I kind of wish it had a signal generator and maybe CAN bus sniffing though.

They had the 25sq ft down to $15.99 a few weeks back. I think that's the best price I've seen
I wish it stayed that low. It's $39 now. I got 2 boxes at $16 and then ordered a 3rd at around $25. My guess is Vevor dropped the price temporarily to boost their sales/visibility in searches to game the system.
So far I love this stuff. Everything sounds more solid and it's not a lot of weight if you don't go crazy with it.
You might want to search vevor and sort price from low to high. They're clearing stuff out and there are some deep discounts. $6 space heater, $8 100 foot pressure washer drain clearer, $10 bar cart, plastic welding kit, $10 diamond drill bits, Tesla charger adapter thing that I wouldn't trust, .... Amazon search just like google search now a days is not made to give you the most relevant results but rather extract the most amount of money from you. When you sort by price (low to high) you'll see that many results disappear (say from 900+ to 50). What I do instead is use the price slider filter on the left to set a low price range and then browse manually. You have to be careful that Amazon doesn't then apply the category filter (say tools instead of all).
