Eneloop Charger and 4x AAA Batteries came up today on my CamelCamelCamel alerts for $21. Its Great way to get into using eneloops at an affordable price. The 4x AA set is a little more at $23 right now.

$21 is the lowest the 4x AAA kit has been in a few years and the BQ-CC17 is not the fastest charger in the world but it's a safe and reliable eneloop branded charger capable of charging cells individually. Ive been using two for at least 5 years and just bought a third one to keep in my office for the keyboard and mouse.

Limited-time deal: Panasonic K-KJ17M3A4BA Advanced Individual Cell Battery Charger Pack with 4 AAA eneloop 2100 Cycle Rechargeable Batteries

edit 2: Cancelled order below due to faked dead blow heads.

cancelled>> edit: I do not think the ball peen hammers are dead blow reading more reviews

Reviewers for the left set confirm the ball peen is dead blow (much like the right set). Looks like a decent deal compared to hf icon dead blows.

picked the titan branded set for 41$ open box; looks good, the small peen hammer feels like the head could've been glued further into the handle but I may be mistaken. I'm not very used to these longer handle hammers but I'm sure they'll come in handy w/use. Quality seems fairly decent.

Order cancelled by Amazon
Went through the same bs just a few minutes ago. The 3rd party seller canceled my order. Called Amazon, because they were still listed, but at $44 bucks. one rep said my card was declined. Another said there was no carrier available. Both were bs. They didn't want to sell at the $10 price Amazon had set, so they just canceled $10 orders. They told me to go ahead and reorder, and they will refund the difference when they arrive. We’ll see. Give them a call.

Thanks, but I'll pass on another Amazon phone experience.
Hope it works out for you. (y)

Interesting. A lathe chuck as an indexing table on a DP??? Is there a YT video for that too?

I'd probably get a rotary table/div plates w/o a chuck.

Thanks, I'd found that video last night, and started watching it, but when I saw the dumbbell weights, stopped watching, figuring it was the wrong thing.

I just watched the last few minutes, and WOW, that was brilliant. Basically a poor-man's rotary table (with limited granularity, of course)!

I don't know a lot of poor men with all of the equipment he used to make that, of course...

Trigger warning! The guy making this is not used to talking for others. Tons of Um..., And..., Well..., And eh...., almost made it unwatchable.

Looks ok for what it is, but it seems very tall and looks like it could get out of perpendicular fast if you were not careful. Also surprised the rod doesn't have any kind of spring tension to keep it in the groove, or a way to mount the whole setup in one piece (rod/holder bolts separately).

Another option is to just use the adapter plate w/a square tail and mount on one of these vises...though maybe clamping the round stock onto the vise achieves the same goal at that point:

I found the indexing plate superfluous as well. He could've used the adapter plate for the same purpose (albeit w/a smaller indexing rod) and used the bore of the chuck for the brass spacer since it's literally a plug w/no thru hole capability.

Last I looked, it was $69. Gotta love Amazon pricing. Glad some of y'all were able to catch it at $26 when I posted it.
It sure is frustrating. Milwaukee tools even worse.

Find something that seems like a decent price and a few weeks later it's like 1/2 price.
Course lot of the time Homes Depot doesn't include AK in their sales... cant even get 75% of the M18 or M12 stuff, have to find it online somewhere and hope they'll ship and not charge crazy $$.

Just price the stuff and quit screwing with the prices please!

If you search for “thread checker”, there are quite a few under $20.

I like this set of individual pieces because it allows me to check female threads in things larger than nuts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CMHMH13X?tag=atomicindus08-20

There are a few that are similar for $10 (on cables), but have complaints in the reviews about illegible size markings.

Of course the boards are great because you’ll never lose a size.

I have a cable version... Do not like it much. It works but didn't like it

My cable one is hard to read. I almost bought the board type but it seems a bit limited in that you can't carry it to the work as well as the individuals on cable.
