Look forward to hearing how it performs.I ordered one! F it for $50 I'll be the one to try it. Thanks V Dub.
We don't weld shame here.I switched to this one for the dual voltage. One thing for sure, I will never post a picture of one of my welds.

I bought this based on this link - 17.99 is incredible. Got it over the weekend. I turned it on and played around with it for a few minutes. Doesn't seem to have any way to record the pictures, but for a basic camera seems to work fine.
I'm a terrible welder also! I need to practice. We don't weld shame here.
( Well actually we do but only for random photos from the internet..)
I received 12 of these in my first shipment and only 1 when I re-ordered.$0.26 each for a made-in-USA 17/64" drill bit. Based on my past experience, when Amazon shows the price as they do here, 90% of the time it is for a pack of 12 drills, even though that is not explicitly mentioned in the product description. I rolled the dice and put in my order.

Sooooooo bummed that I missed the $18 endoscope!!!
I got one ordered while it was $34.
I find aluminum coke cans makes great shim material. Could probably use aluminum foil tape tooThese wheels are all still on sale. I tried them on my harbor freight surface conditioner and they are like 0.10 too large. They will go on but it's tight. I am going to clearance the large center hole and slot the bolt holes on the shield so I can move it a little, there's not much room to move but it looks like probably enough.

There is nothing to shim there. The guard needs to be moved away from the spindle radially to create space for a larger diameter wheel.I find aluminum coke cans makes great shim material. Could probably use aluminum foil tape too

oh....I must not have understood what you meant with "clearancing the larger center hole". You could run it until it wears into place too? Maybe remove the guard to do so first if you don't want to use the guard to do the job. There is nothing to shim there. my bad, yeah, I meant flux core.MIG requires gas, a regulator, and a different nozzle....these are all multi process machines with FCAW wire feed capability, but not MIG without adding additional equipment.
Well it works but I'm even worse stick welding than mig welding. My welder showed up this afternoon. I'll try it out tomorrow.
I went down the Amazon stick welder rabbit hole a bit the other night. There are MANY Chinese DC units similar to the posted cheapy available in the $50-60+ range. I think one is definitely worth it if you can use one on a budget. I have a MIG and decided to hold out for a stick with tig capabilities at the moment.fwiw, you can grab a mig w/a stinger for not much more (not dual voltage tho, that's $80 territory):
Yes, I've gone down that rabbit hole myself. I've actually got a few including one of the 120v flux core. They're hard to beat if you gotta do something quick outside. The "hone" brand has some well reviewed options. I think for the money it's hard to beat the HarbFreight units which are CSA cert. and likely have power factor correction so they won't draw more amperage than they should for home circuits.I went down the Amazon stick welder rabbit hole a bit the other night. Reviews from that seller indicate that only 1 from the packs arrive. Appears to be a reseller of those pallet auctions.
hope you get them. check their other items from that seller as they also have the larger size akro bins.I gave it a another shot, I have ordered these in the past and they came in a set of 6. That seller doesnt have any feedback indicating someone got only 1 that I see.
same same. we'll see what shows up. these are very handy.I gave it a another shot, I have ordered these in the past and they came in a set of 6. That seller doesnt have any feedback indicating someone got only 1 that I see.
