I bought the 4lbs version a few weeks ago at a similar discount. Really a nice hammer! Mine is showing 33$ or i would probably buy this one.
I also jumped on the 4lb version - mine indicates made in USA (both on a sticker on the handle, and stamped into the head).Does yours indicate where it was made? Was thinking of getting one but couldn't find anything about country of origin.
Same with Proto's large sledge hammers, if someone has one of them.
cancelled my order
I had something similar happen with pliers a couple of years ago. After a few months they canceled mine and completely deleted the order. On November 10, 2025, someone posted a deal on the VAUGHAN Rawhide Mallet, and I jumped on it. I have been checking on my two orders, and they are still showing and have not cancelled. I also checked to see if they are back in stock, which they are, but at a price that is more than 5 times higher. I am unsure whether I should call to check the status of the two orders. Your suggestions are welcome.

I just opened up this package. That is a TON of top quality zip ties!! Thanks Mr Scavenger! Price is showing $27 now.
So you’re saying my order of two packages might be overkill?I just opened up this package. That is a TON of top quality zip ties!! Thanks Mr Scavenger! Price is showing $27 now.
I have a very similar "Bosctich" branded kit from about 10 years ago. (Bought on clearance, probably because they were rebranding to Stanly, Dewalt, or something else.

I bought the second pack to give to a friend who is getting into lobstering this season, lots of zip ties used to repair the netting on the traps.
Come back, you real *******.You deleted my post. I’m done here, too petty for me.
Damn, already sold out.![]()
Reviews say TaiwanWhat's the COO? I couldn't tell from the listing (as usual).
If nothing else, it'll help my impulse control...

Reviews say Taiwan
Thanks, guys. I don't "need" them, but they're probably nicer than my Chinese Kobalt set?

I can’t speak to this set but I have the Dewalt reversible ratcheting wrenches with a COO of Taiwan and they’re great.

What a great write-up... Price with coupon is now up to $153, which still is not bad.Skip all my BS below and buy this set if you can still get it for $88 bucks…otherwise and if your skeptical, read the below.
Damn, this is a pretty good set and very inclusive. The case is decent with four latches. The ratchets are pretty standard SBD fare. Sockets are decent with good broaching. I wish they had a little better visibility but still overall decent.
The gem is this kit is the lack of filler. Just lbs and lbs of sockets, extensions, bit sockets and universals. This is a get it done set. It’s heavy and bulky, but it’s very complete and will most things if your working remote on 90% of stuff out there.
The set is made in Taiwan and it shows based on the material quality and fitment. Good ball detents on the extensions and universals. Leave the foam mat in the case if this is going in rig to quiet the noise. The case holds the sockets pretty well but it’s not perfect. Im going to order another one of these.
